IV. Fundraiser
O Caribbean play:
o Chris S. had the idea to bring a play to Atlanta to raise money for UFJ projects. Craig J. had the idea to utilize Atlanta-based Caribbean playwrights (students) in the form of a contest wherein students submit a script, a proposed venue, and hold auditions for main characters. UFJ would host the play and the student would get experience and the benefit of our media resources.
o Soren Ludwig proposed using the Ravinia club as a venue for a play or a party (fundraiser). o Soren also offered the use of his shopping center for a "jam out" or outdoor event to raise funds. He could provide rock, reggae and hip hop musicians and UFJ could provide food vendors and charge them a fee.
